Yes, each section of border is one consecutive run of our enhanced concrete, and all work is performed on site.

Concrete can naturally develop small cracks as part of its normal curing and settling process. However, several steps are taken to eliminate, control, or minimize cracking.

These steps include:

• Proper ground preparation
• Using fiber mesh in every mix
• Putting mini-footers every 2 feet in the ground
• Cutting control and expansion joints every 2 feet
• The use of Border Magic® proprietary additives

Since our landscape edging is one continuous piece, it will not shift over time like individual blocks or bricks. The fiber mesh in our concrete is designed to take the place of rebar or steel and add strength to the concrete edging.

We also take the extra step to place mini footers during ground preparation. We drill into the ground and place concrete in these holes prior to the border being extruded. It is designed to minimize freeze-thaw movement during colder months.

We will need access to a water source (hose hook-up).

You will need to have any and all subterranean objects marked. We are not responsible for contacting the utility department or identifying these objects such as invisible fences, cable lines, sprinkler systems, and similar items.

Additionally, you will need to pick up all dog messes and mow your yard.

Typically, we come out one day to prep the areas receiving border, then the installation will be done the next day. Depending on options and footage, it may take additional days.

No, you do not need to be home at the time of installation.

The color will change the most as the border hardens during the first 24 hours and then slightly for the following 28 days after installation.

Color fade can also depend on how often the border is in the sun. We recommend our Reseal Program to help keep your border looking its best.

Price depends on a few factors, including but not limited to total footage and the width and height of the border.

Yes, we require a 40 ft minimum for Border Magic concrete landscape edging installations.

Angelopulos StoneCraft is a family-owned small business Border Magic® franchise located in Bridgewater, Virginia. We provide professional decorative concrete edging installation.

We serve customers in Harrisonburg, Rockingham, Augusta, Staunton, Waynesboro, Highland, Albemarle, and Charlottesville.

When we are on site and have completed installation, we will seal your new border with our tried and true Border Magic® sealer.

If you commit to the Reseal Program, we will come back out 1 year after installation to inspect your edging, clean your border, and reseal it. During the reseal service, if you have a crack larger than a hairline, we will make a control joint cut along the crack to stop it from affecting other areas of the border.

When we are finished with this service, your edging will look more vibrant and stay protected. We then recommend having this performed every 2 years after that.
